Paris Jakun

Hello everyone..

in the spirit of BLOGGING you guys with my life story, there was a torrential thunderstorm in the South of Paris and kawasan kawasan yang sewaktu dengannya...

so everyone was very the jakun, macam tak pernah jumpa air...ok, to be fair, the air hujan was more like small rocks falling down the sky...but ANYWAYYYYYYYYYY...I went upstairs to talk to the Tax Director ( 2nd floor ) ...

as i was speaking to her, someone came in and said " I hope u have saved ur belongings.."..& I said why ?..." The whole floor downstairs is flooded from the rain... HELLLOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... I ran quickly downstairs and he was not joking...the whole floor had water...but actually tak de lah tinggi sangat...but stilll....all ur laptop cables et al had to be moved away...

HOW CHOKIA IS THATTTTTTTTTTT ???? A Company like GE ( supposedly biggest by market cap in the world ) cannot even cope with a downpour that resulted in a "mini" flood of the office...so needless to say, kitorang semua kelam kabut cari office tempat duduk lain..but guess what, EVERYONE BALIK RUMAH LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.....memanglah diorang nak kerja kalau semua dah gelap gelita and all..

which brings me to the point, Malaysia hujan macam tu all the time...kalau KLCC banjir (albeit the ground floor pun ) everytime hujan, memang lah semua orang kata bangang...but it happens here...

apparently, one guy was telling me that in his 13 years of working in GE Healthcare Paris, this was the 2nd time that they had such a terrible downpour that resulted in office banjir...
so here I am in the hotel writing this email because in CAS, banjir tak banjir deadlines are still deadlines.....and no excuse to go back and sleep.

anyway, thats the story for the day...

its 10:30pm...I have to get something else finished but with the comfortable bed and tv in front of me, memanglah susah nak concentrate kerja...

so how ?

So How?

This is supposed to be Fadli's blog. But since Fadli's best try with IT was coming up with Powerpoint presentation with a blue background (which has not changed since the first day he started using Powerpoint) of his visits around the world, his friends decided to put this blog for him.

Hopefully he does find out finally what a blog is, and how to maintain one.

Fadli Riza Ramli is 2*tut* years old, is currently residing in London and spends his free time writing e-mails to people of the new places that he visited on the course of carrying his work with GE.

Previously of Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Morrison's Academy and Imperial College - Fadli did his Chartered Accountancy articleship with a firm in London, before joining GE's Corporate Audit Staff.

This blog is supposedly his personal accounts of his life, which we hope will free our mailbox from his e-mails and Powerpoint presentations of his visits.
